# Transfer License

### Transfer the resource to another account

Assets you own can be transferred to other users, to transfer an asset follow these steps.

To transfer an asset follow the detailed steps below:

1. Go to the **Assets** page on Portal, from here select the asset you want to transfer.

2. Select the asset you want to transfer, and press the **Transfer** button at the top of the list.

3. After pressing the **Transfer** button a pop-up window will appear to transfer your asset.\
   Make sure you communicate first with the development server, so there are no transfer errors.\
   You need to ask about server <mark style="color:red;">**Cfx.re Username**</mark>, and input it and then Click <mark style="color:red;">**Tranfer Assets License**</mark>

After the transfer, you will no longer have access to the assets in your keymaster. The license transfer can only be done once and cannot be reversed.

4. Enter the username of the user you want to transfer the asset too, and press the **Transfer** button. Now you will be sent an email to accept this transfer.

5. Click the **Confirm transfer request** link and your asset will be transferred.

{% hint style="warning" %} <mark style="color:orange;">**NOTE :**</mark> Transfer will remove this license from your account and move it to another Cfx.re account. This action is irreversible and can be done only once for each license.
